Bluffie season is upon us! This year’s haul is coming in fresh off the boat as we speak and Viaduct Harbour eateries are amongst the first to land them. Here’s where to find this world-renowned delicacy:
Freshly shucked Bluff Oysters have returned to this rooftop bar and what better way to enjoy them than with a glass of beer. Dr Rudi’s is offering a complementary pint of Rudi’s APA with every dozen ($45) or half dozen ($25) of Bluff Oysters.
HQ is serving up Bluffies at the hot price of $25/dozen. Enjoy them with a bottle of Mumm Champagne for $60 a bottle.
Hello Beasty has put a twist on the traditional Bluffie – serving them battered Karaage-style with yuzu-kosho mayonnaise, as well as natural with vinegar and lemon (pictured).
OYSTER AND CHOP
It’s no surprise that Oyster and Chop is serving up Bluffies this season, and their famous Oyster Happy Hour just got even happier! From 3-6pm everyday fresh Bluff Oysters are $3 each, minimum 6.
This heavenly delicacy has returned to Saint Alice’s famous raw bar, along with some new favourites including paua dumplings and paua fried bread.
SOUL BAR AND BISTRO
SOUL will be holding their famous ‘All You Can Eat Bluff Oyster Fest’ on Tuesday 3rd March. While this event is sold out, Bluffies will still available à la carte daily.
