ST PATRICK’S FESTIVAL PARADE –Saturday, March 14, 2020
Whether you’re Irish or Irish for the day you’ll be welcomed to join the celebrations for the only St Patrick’s Day parade in the Southern Hemisphere. There will be Irish-inspired floats, traditional music and dancing, marching bands, leprechauns among many other festivities.
St Patrick’s Parade 12pm-1pm, Queen St
Hugh Green Group Irish Music and Dance Festival, 12.30pm-3.30pm, outside Auckland Town Hall
O’HAGAN’S ST PATRICK’S WEEKEND FESTIVAL – Saturday 14 March
What better way to continue the revelries than at O’Hagan’s Irish Bar. About as authentic as it gets, O’Hagan’s is the place to be to enjoy live music, traditional Irish dancing, face painting and plenty of St Patrick’s Day specials.
The fun continues on Sunday 15th March with more live music and dancing.
The main event on Tuesday 17th March kick off at 8am with Breakfast and a Pint before a day full of live music, dancing and Irish craic.
DANNY DOOLANS – Tuesday 17th March
Danny Doolan’s will be celebrating its 20th St Patrick’s Day with plenty of fanfare. Festivities kick off at 10am for a jubilant day of dancing, singing and plenty of craic. Plus, anyone who posts a photo of themselves at a past Danny’s St Patrick’s Day celebration will receive a $50 voucher to use on the day before 5pm! Post your pics here!
